After learning the basics of tabla in the beginner’s course, the students will scale up their learning experiences in the intermediate course. They will learn to ace the fingering techniques. After completion of the beginner’s level, students are more confident and their limbs are steadier than before. They have learned to maintain stable body postures that support them through long practice sessions.
The curriculum is more detailed and in-depth both in terms of practice and theory. Students get to delve into more complicated repertoires. Kaydas, Tukras, bols, tihai, and all the theories that they had learned at the beginner’s level provide a strong foundation for the intermediate level to build on.
