The epidemic of coronavirus has led to the greatest distant learning experiment ever in the world. According to UNESCO, the virus triggered a national closure in 190 countries until its height in mid-April 2020, affecting 90 percent (almost 1.6 billion) of all enrolled students worldwide. For kids, parents, and educators, that was a tremendous learning curve that moved their education online. However, it was also a boon to one of the fastest expanding industries in the world: education technology.
The chaos of 2020-2021 drove instructors to adopt tools such as Zoom and Google Meet fast to teach their pupils remotely – yet most of these instruments were not specifically designed for training. However, it did not take much time for a pre-existing generation of edtech suppliers, like ipassio to boom under such conditions. Many of these edtech platforms are performing well and are rapidly expanding. As a savior, edtech platforms have enabled the education of schools and helpers to be practically replicated, in line with existing requirements. Edtech platforms enable the modernization of education by schools and colleges and make the learning process a worthwhile proposition.
Continuous learning is more crucial to protect jobs for the future in an age of increased tech disruption. It is anticipated by the World Economic Forum that more than half the workforce will have to reschedule and improve their employment by the start of 2022, before Covid-19. Now that unemployment rates approach record highs, experts forecast that many of those jobs could not come back at all. In such a scenario, virtual learning on edtech platforms is a lifesaver.
