About the Course
The highlights of the course include -
- What is the correct posture for you? There are several postures. You will discuss this with the teacher and decide which posture is the best fit in terms of your comfort level and ease of playing the instrument.
- Finger strengthening exercises customized just for you. The set of exercises will be shared every week.
- You will be introduced to playing melodies. And the melodies will be of your choice.
- The concept of rhythm will be introduced. It will include - strumming, time signature, combining chords and rhythms.
- Slowly, as you pick up the basic skills, you will be introduced to playing songs.
- In advanced melodies, you will learn the intros and solos of popular songs
- In advanced chords, you will learn Barre chords and Jazz chords
- Exercises to improve right-hand fingers

Das Gunjan is a highly trained guitar and Ukulele coach. He has an impressive teaching experience of fifteen years. He is the founder and coach at ‘The Violet Guitar’.
Das considers ear training as a fundamental part of his teaching process. He follows Trinity College’s syllabus for music theory in Guitar. He teaches Guitar to those who want to learn it as a hobby, to those who aim at getting certifications, and to those who aspire to become professional artists.
