About the instructor: Soumyajit Paul is a nationally acclaimed, "A" grade Sitarist of All India Radio & an experienced Sitar Guru. He has been practicing this discipline for the past 25 years. He is a 5th generation Sitarist of the traditional Bishnupur Gharana of West Bengal, India, and is also a winner of several national & international contests, 1st class & Gold Medalist in Sitar (M.A.) from Rabindra Bharati University, and a critically acclaimed prominent musician from the present musical fraternity.
