This is the best opportunity for aspiring dancers who want to excel in the field of Mohiniyattam. This will train the students for head, neck, and limb coordination, slowly and gradually, and eventually, help to exercise your brain activities. And also helps your body to do more activities simultaneously.
In Mohiniyattam, the torso, legs, facial and eye movements (abhinaya) along with hand gestures (hastas) - all need to be in complete sync. For the proper application of all the skills the dancer has to be very mindful always.

About the Teacher
Kalamandalam Archithalakshmi is a trained Mohiniyattam and Bharathanatyam artist from Kerala. Hailing from a family of artists, she trained under the tutelage of her mother Smt. Kalamandalam Baby Vinodini from a very young age. Later she learned the Kalakshetra style of Bharathanatyam from Sri.Shafeekudheen ( the direct disciple of Padmabhushan V.P Dhananjayan and Shantha Dhananjayan). She graduated in 2021 from Kerala Kalamandalam, deemed to be a university of art and culture by the government of India. She earned her masters of excellence such as Bharathanatyam from Kalakshetra Ardralakshmi, Mohiniyattam from Kalamandalam Sangeetha Prasad, and Kalamandalam Sujatha, Mridangam from Kalamandalam Krishnakumar, Kuchipudi from Geetha Padmakumar and Ottanthullal from Punnassery Prabhakaran.
Archithalakshmi intends to inspire the new generation of dancers to delve into the enriching world of Indian performing arts. Natya is a lifelong journey of exploration and discovery rather than merely a dance style or repertoire. It uses its vast vocabulary as a language to express my thoughts and creative impulses. She is a performing artist and teacher who performs frequently in and around famous sabhas during festivals.
Archithalakshmi has shared the stage with her mother and sister, Adharalakshmi at several prestigious events. Her individual performances include - Guruvayur Srikrishna Temple, Kerala Sangeeta Nataka Academy-Thrissur, Kannenkavu Bhagavathy Kshetram –changaramkulam, Thiruvegappura Moonnumoorthy Temple-Palakkad, Peruvanmala Siva Temple-Thrissur, Thrikkavu Sri Durga Bhagavathy Temple, Keezhillam-Malappuram, Kollur Mookambhika Temple-Karnataka, etc.
Archithalakshmi has participated in many National seminars such as the Natyakala conference (2015-2019). She works as a freelance dancer and dance tutor. She has worked with many Carnatic music and dance bands such as Back Benchers.
Archithalakshmi has been conferred with A.R.R Bhaskar Rao Memorial Award from the prestigious Kerala Kalamandalam in 2020.
