Guitar Classes Online for New Learners

How will this course fulfill your dream to become a successful guitarist? This course will initiate you to a profusely enriching learning process. This course aims at getting your fundamentals right in regards to playing guitar. 

The highlights of the course include -

• Knowing the guitar inside out, its parts, and how it works
• In the beginning students will learn to play the right hand playing techniques which is the key of all, followed by the feft and playing technique.
• Then the students will be introduced to playing notes on the guitar. They will be taught to play phrases made out of permutation and combinations of chords.
• After the students are well versed with chords, they will be trained to play in rhythm - meaning regular and repeated patterns or flow of sound.
• After this, they are introduced to leads and taught to play single-note lines without using chords instead depending on solos and licks.
• After the student is familiarised with leads, chords, and rhythm, the student will start practicing some Ragas as well as western and Indian songs on guitar. 
• The students can share a list of songs that they want to learn with the teacher to practice in the guidance of the teacher. The list would be finalized on mutual consent of the teacher and the student.

About the Teacher

Siddhartha Banerjee is an internationally renowned performing artist for Siddha Veena. He is also a composer and teacher. He has created the Siddha Veena. He is also the founder of "Riwayat''- A Unique Fusion Band and the international project "Meditation with Siddha Veena". He is the co-founder of the international project "Magic of Strings" with Guitarist Ole Andre Frastad from Norway.

Siddhartha has trained in guitar under the able guidance of Jaya Banerjee and Dr Shibnath Bhattacharya. He has earned the degree of Sangeet Prabhakar in Guitar. 

Siddhartha Banerjee has also worked in the Hollywood Film "Peacock Spring '' as a child actor, he has written a lot of renowned works under the name "Sufi Siddhartha". He is also the recipient of several awards, some of which include the Saint Teresa Award, Honorary Doctorate from IIOH Kolkata, Saraswat Samman, Sangeet Sadhak Award, NIPA Award, and National Gold Medal. Some of his popular albums include - Inner Voice of Siddha Veena (India), Kashinath (Brisbane) Drumming Session with Siddha Veena (Queensland), Magic of String (Norway), "Siddhi" Meditation with Siddha Veena(India).
