About the Course
This beginner’s long-term course will set the student on the way to playing the guitar, be it the acoustic or the electric guitar, within no time. The course will provide a perfect balance between exploring the instrument, performance technique, and music theory to get students to play the guitar at the earliest possible time.
- The seven techniques of playing the guitar covered in the course, namely lead, chords, rhythm, plucking, fingerstyle picking, flamenco and percussive styles.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the chords
- Introduction to compositions and ways to compose music
- Introduction to staff notation and harmonisation
- Introduction to melody and beats

About the Teacher: A child prodigy, Shantanu started learning the guitar at eight to make his stage debut at 10. Ever since winning competitions has come naturally to Shantanu.
Shantanu has over 70 laurels as the best performer under his belt. His talent has been recognised by many who have had him in their bands. The most renowned are Silk Route, All Seven Notes, and Hyperion.
At 38, Shantanu has turned out to be a professional with the guitar. He teaches guitar to students from India and abroad through online and offline classes. His students can appear in the exams and earn certificates from the prestigious Trinity School of Music in London.
