The intermediate course in ghazal singing is designed for learners who have learned the fundamentals of singing Ghazal. After the students are capable of singing simple compositions with ease, they can attempt more complex songs.
The key factors of singing Ghazal include - emoting through the voice and flawless diction. The Ghazals that are taught at the intermediate level require more depth in understanding each word and rendering through the voice. This course will take the voice quality and overall singing skills higher by a few notches. The students should be prepared to push their limits.

About the Teacher
Dr. Shruti Sargam is a trained Ghazal and Sufi singer. Born in an illustrious lineage of Dhrupad vocalists from the Darbhanga tradition, she was privileged to grow up in a musically rich atmosphere where she explored different genres of music.
Specializing in Ghazal singing, Shruti has completed "Sangeet Shiromani" from the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts, University of Delhi. She also holds a Senior Diploma in Hindustani Classical Vocal music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
She has performed live across India in numerous stage shows. She was the guest artist on the popular weekly show, “Shukra hai Shukravar hai” on AIR FM Rainbow. She was awarded "Sur Sartaj" in 2012. A versatile singer with varied experience in the music industry, she has lent her voice to various radio and TV jingles like Mega Cabs, Discovery Channel’s Incredible India Campaign, Tupperware, Big Bazaar, and Dabur Gulabari, to name a few.
