Diploma in Bharatanatyam from Nrityangan Dance Academy

Students will explore theoretical aspects of Bharatanatyam from Abhinay Darpanam and Natyashastra. As well as learn the practicalities and technicalities of this traditional dance form.

About the Teacher: Muktai Bhagwat has trained under the guidance of Maniktai Ambike from Nrityangan Academy, Pune. She is learning Karana under the guidance of Vithya Arasu, a disciple of Dr Padma Subramanyam. She has participated in many dance competitions and events. She has also choreographed and performed at professional shows.
Muktai started the Nrityanand Dance Academy, in Pune in the year 2012. Since then many students successfully learned, appeared and cleared different Bharatanatyam examinations. Currently, students from India, the USA, the UK, Luxembourg, Germany, and Thailand are learning Bharatanatyam at different levels.
Muktai believes that there is no shortcut to success and not at all in the field of dance! A strong foundation leads to the ladder of success which can be climbed only through practice.
