You should also have a profound conceptual knowledge of Raga, Taal, and Lay. This course will take your understanding and vocal capabilities to the next level.

About the Course
This course's primary focus will be voice training, pitch perfection, and developing an effective practice regime. Add to this the detailed study of Raga, Taal, and Lay. This will boost your understanding of music and enhance your ability to sing the Ragas and other songs.
Before enrolling in this course, you are advised to complete the courses - Basics of Hindustani Vocal Lessons and Level-up Basics of Hindustani Vocals. This course also welcomes learners who have learned Hindustani classical music before and want to start learning again after a gap.
The highlights of the course include -
- Advanced-level paltas and combination practises.
- Development of voice texture
- Pitch perfection exercises
- Practice with tanpura and harmonium
- 5-6 ragas and 10-12 bandishes - both in Drut and Madhyalaya
- 2-3 bhajans or songs according to the choice of the student
About the Teacher
Supriyo Dutta is a distinguished performer in Hindustani Vocal Classical music and has performed extensively in India and the United States of America, Australia, Europe, Srilanka, etc.
He has trained under some of the finest and legendary icons of Indian classical music, namely, Pandit Ramkrishna Basu(Indore Gharana), Padmashri & Sangeet Natak Academy Ratna awardee Pandit Vijay Kichlu & Vidushi Subhra Guha.
He has been a National Scholar under the Ministry of Culture and was awarded a Gold medal by the President. He has been conferred with Prasun Bandyopadhyay Memorial Award and is an esteemed Indian Council for Cultural Relations member.
