About the Teacher: Mugdha Hasabnis has an impressive experience of over 12 years of vocal training in Hindustani classical music. She is certified with Upantya Visharad level in Opera (Western classical singing) at KM Music Conservatory (Chennai). She has a professional performance experience of over 13 years as a playback singer and performer. She has sung in various Indian languages including Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Gujarati.
Mugdha has performed in an internationally televised Indian singing show. She has worked with prominent composers and has recorded vocals for film and non-film music. Mugdha has a professional teaching experience of over 10 years as a music teacher specialising in Hindustani classical, Light and Playback music.
She has been titled 'The Best Playback Singer - Female' by the Maharashtra State Government of India for “Kalokhaacha Rang” from the Marathi film “Ubuntu” (2017) and 'The Best Singer - Female (Non-Film)' by 'Kannada International Music Awards for “Endu Mugiyada” from the Kannada album “2way” (2013). She has also been in the top 14 finalists in an internationally televised Indian singing reality show – Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (2010).
