About the Teacher: Santosh Ghante is a promising Internationally renowned solo Harmonium performer and music composer. He is a disciple of renowned harmonium maestro late Pt. Appasaheb Jalgaonkar. Santosh has been a recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, GOI in 2001. Santosh has done a lot of work in the field of Indian music. He has been very innovative with his musical instrument-the Harmonium and has collaborated with international artists. Santosh has performed in several music conferences/solo concerts all around the world in more than 34 countries.
He has won several awards and accolades in India and abroad. He has been honoured with the International Harmonium Player Award from the Cultural department of Durban in South Africa and in Mauritius at the hands of Prime Minister Mr Navin Ramgoolam, to name some of his achievements.
