The third part of the foundation is designed for learners who have mastered the first two levels of the foundation course. Having a strong foundation is crucial for imbibing any art form. It is significant for Carnatic vocal music as it is one of the oldest traditions in Indian classical music.
A systematic approach is essential to pass on traditional knowledge and skills of Carnatic music in its true essence. And that exactly is the objective behind this course - to make the learners stand on a very strong foundation.

This course majorly focuses on the basic songs - the Geetams. Geetams are small melodic compositions that are easy to learn and practice. They consist of melodic phrases, often with repetitive patterns, allowing students to grasp the foundational elements of a raga.
When learning and performing Geetams on the Carnatic violin, students focus on playing the melody with accuracy and clarity. They pay attention to intonation, smooth bowing, and maintaining a steady tempo. Geetams help students develop a sense of timing, rhythm, and phrasing, as they learn to navigate through the composition's musical structure.
After the completion of this course, the students will be ready to upgrade to Carnatic Vocals Intermediate.
