About the Course
After you have learned the fundamentals, it’s time to learn to apply the concepts you have learned in your singing. Every song is based on some Ragas. Some even have a combination of Ragas. You should have a very good understanding and practice of the Ragas.
The highlights of this course will include -
- Practice technique that is tailored to suit your voice type and learning abilities
- Different sets of vocal exercises that help you enhance your voice quality and range
- Exploration of Varnams in different ragas. Varnams serve as a comprehensive exercise for the vocalist to showcase their skills and enhance the overall musical experience.
- Exploration of Krithis in different ragas and talas. Krithis are melodic phrases, rhythmic accompaniment, embellishments, and improvisations that help to display the musical prowess of the performer
- Execution of intricate Gamakas
- Understanding the nuances of each concept and how to apply these while singing.

Ananya Bhagath is a highly trained and accomplished playback singer, Carnatic vocalist, performer, music researcher, and vocal coach. Her achievements speak of her passion and love for music.
She has been awarded the ‘Best Playback Singer’ for her song ‘Sapurakati’ from the movie ‘Neerdose’. She has completed her Graduation, Post Graduation, and M.Phill in Music from Jain University. Currently, she has earned her Doctorate in Music from Jain University.
