Learn basic voice techniques in this Bollywood singing course for beginners. This course is for a group of 2 students. The group can be formed only by siblings or family members or known friends or colleagues. Students will be able to sing Indian and Sufi songs as well as Ghazals. Voice throwing and culture will be covered, enabling students to understand and perform songs in a traditional style while also adding their personality and flair to the musical pieces. The course is for those aged over five and takes place in 50-minute classes per week over 24 weeks.

About the Teacher
Based in Kolkata, Atri Kotal is a longtime student of classical music and an accomplished performing artist. She began her formal training in Hindustani classical music at the age of 11, under the tutelage of the late Pandit Biresh Roy, and later under Smt Haimanti Shukla and Ustad Jainul Abedin of Agra Gharana. In 2014, Kotal released her first album of devotional music titled Naman – Light of the Soul, a collection of bhajans. She performs live in various venues in West Bengal and teaches vocal music to students all over the world. A recipient of numerous awards, most recently Kotal received the National Scholarship in both Hindustani vocal and semi-classical music from the Ministry of Culture in 2015.
